Context & Challenge
In just a matter of days, we were tasked with designing and launching a microsite for Jobcase.ai to present to board members and investors. The goal: reposition Jobcase as an AI-forward company in a rapidly shifting market. Competitors like Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and new entrants such as Mercor and ConverzAI were already staking claims in the AI space. We needed to clearly communicate that Jobcase wasn’t just keeping pace—we were pushing ahead.
As Design Director, I led my team under an accelerated timeline, encouraging them to experiment with new creative workflows using tools like Midjourney and ChatGPT. These workflows allowed us to quickly generate brand elements, illustrations, and messaging that balanced innovation with Jobcase’s mission of empowering everyday workers.
What is Jobcase.ai?
Jobcase.ai delivers human-centered AI agents that drive performance across HR, recruiting, career coaching, marketing, and admin tasks. Unlike one-size-fits-all platforms, our “Agentic AI” assistants adapt to each organization’s workflows, data, and brand voice—providing empathetic, specialized support that accelerates hiring and operations.

The problem to solve
Recruiters and job seekers face an increasingly complex hiring landscape:
- Traditional tools are transactional, leaving candidates frustrated.
- Recruiters are overwhelmed by manual tasks and poor tooling.
- Competitors are racing to define the next generation of agentic AI platforms.
Jobcase needed to differentiate by creating an AI-driven experience that was:
- Intelligent in its automation
- Transparent in its operations
- Human-centered in its design
Design goals
We had to position Jobcase.ai as both modern and high-tech, while staying true to Jobcase’s mission of helping workers. The microsite design needed to:
- Establish trust and credibility with investors and board members
- Highlight innovation through polished, future-forward visuals
- Showcase real recruiting workflows enhanced by AI
- Remain approachable and empathetic to reflect Jobcase’s core values
Exploratory interviews with recruiters and candidates reinforced the need for clarity, empathy, and efficiency at every stage of the hiring process.
Hypothesis
If we designed AI recruiting agents that look and sound more human, while delivering modern, high-tech efficiency, recruiters and job seekers would experience a smoother, more trustworthy hiring journey.By combining competitive intelligence with user insights, we believed Jobcase.ai could stand apart from Indeed, Mercor, and ConverzAI by offering a recruiting experience that feels both intelligent and empathetic—driving recruiter adoption, candidate engagement, and measurable improvements in time-to-hire.
New Brand Elements & Workflow
To meet the deadline and elevate the creative, we adopted AI-powered design workflows:
- Midjourney: for generating illustrations and concept visuals that felt modern yet human
- ChatGPT: for rapid content creation, tone exploration, and brand positioning
- Agile design sprints: to iterate daily and keep pace with the compressed schedule
These tools allowed us to prototype a brand system in days instead of weeks, producing assets that felt consistent, future-forward, and credible to an investor audience.

Outcome: The Microsite
The microsite positioned Jobcase.ai as a trusted, empathetic, and innovative entrant in the agentic AI space. It combined:
- A minimal, polished visual system aligned with AI-first brands
- New AI-generated illustrations and branding that balanced approachability with tech-forward aesthetics
- Screens and storytelling that highlighted AI agents integrated into real workflows
By launch, we not only met the board and investor deadline but also established a foundation for Jobcase’s AI narrative—setting the tone for future brand and product evolution.
